About the Artist :
Ee Sim attempts to convey a positive message of hope through her paintings. In the midst of life’s uncertainties, there is one certainty, the reality of God’s love, and it is this message that anchors her art work.
She finds joy in the creative process of painting and drawing. For her, creating art is less about the end result and more about the journey of putting colours down on a surface, and seeing what comes out of it. Surprises are part and parcel of this. She relishes the experience of looking beyond the technique to the message underlying each piece.
Ee Sim has participated in two collaborative efforts, ‘The Gathering of the Lions’ art exhibition in 2014, and BE Art Exhibition 2018.
